Summer & Yari • Married {Sanibel/Captiva}

January 11, 2013

A beautiful, sunny, and unusually hot day on Sanibel. Summer and Yari exchanged vows in the historic chapel of the Sanibel Community Church.

Summer is one of the lucky ones who spent her childhood growing up here on the islands. She and Yari met one evening on Captiva at Cantina Captiva – and the rest, is history.

With her beautiful antique wedding dress, Summer looked radiant and couldn’t stop smiling as she anticipated walking down the aisle to meet her husband to be. Seeing the look of awe on Yari’s face as he saw Summer for the first time, you could tell how much these two people mean to each other.

This day was the joining of not only Summer and Yari, but a family. When Yari asked for Summer’s hand – he also asked for Anna and Eva (Summer’s two daughters). Their veils matched their mommy’s and their dresses matched each other. Adorable little flower girls leading mommy down the aisle.

Typically, I’m not a crier. But, for this wedding, Pastor Donovan had even me in tears for the emotional and heart warming service.

I feel blessed to have been a part of your day. And, I am so looking forward to watching your family grow over the year. Congratulations Summer and Yari! Wishing you a lifetime of love and happiness.

xoxo Milissa
