Kristin + Mike recently exchanged their vows at “Tween Waters Inn in a private ceremony with close friends and family. Their day did not start out as expected as we were dodging rain. With storms threatening all around us, they had to roll with plan B in order to still have their harp music. That meant no beach wedding, but a patio wedding under cover at ‘Tween Waters Inn instead. They both handled this change well. After all, rain on your wedding day is good luck, right?
After our emotional first look, we took some time on the beach to take photos at their original ceremony site then we were off to their actual ceremony.
One of my favorite moments was their “ring warming” with their guests. Prior to exchanging vows and their rings – they passed their rings around their guests. Their guests were then able to offer a blessing on their marriage over their rings.
Following the ceremony we went back to the beach with their group. After all the rain that threatened, we only ended up with a few drops.
Kristin + Mike enjoyed the rest of their evening in the sunset room at the Captiva House restaurant.
Such a blessing to share in your special day. Thank you for including us!
xoxo, M + J
